Posterior. Just where did he get that manner of speech of his? Was he raised to be a butler or something? Or did he simply prefer this way of talking?
Ohh- his proposal certainly sounded appealing, it didn’t happen often that she came to talk about herself after all (or did she…). Not that there was much to tell. “Well. There are hardly any interesting events that happen to me, since I’m just a normal university student, unlike you~.”
It was true- Ian couldn’t really imagine telling Reiji anything interesting. What did he want to hear? ‘I forgot to brush my teeth today?’ Firstly, that wasn’t a very charming fact and might even make him annoyed, and secondly- it really wasn’t interesting. Also none of his business.“…As for today, I haven’t really done anything. Talked to my male friend.” No- wait, there was something ‘unusual’, now that she thought back. “We got a fine for not paying our ticket on the tram. I think that must be the most exciting thing that has happened to me since… a very long time. Next stop are my grades. Interesting life I lead, don’t you think?” Sarcasm, of course. Well- it wasn’t as if Reiji would actually expect her to tell some ground-breaking news. …Hopefully. If he did, then she must’ve disappointed him.

It was better than nothing.
Much better than having Shuu to be part of their conversation–but nonetheless, everything she had said so far may have slightly piqued his interest; especially her grades. Keeping a level-headed appearance is very important for a man like Reiji.
Perfect and poised–the kind of man father deserves to praise–but that is another story.
“Oh? I simply have my own hobbies to amuse me. If you would like, I can offer you some of my help with your studies.” Which always come some sort of fee of course.
