A sudden pain ran up her arm and she flinched. The wounds he had inflicted from last time…they were still there. Of course, she is only human. There’s no way she would heal as quickly as him.
“Why is it necessary to do that anymore…? Do you not trust me? I know that I belong to you…but we’ve been through the same process over and over again. And yet…” Her voice cracked. Taking a moment to regain her composure, she averted her gaze to the floor, however, her eyes soon flickered back up to him. Keeping eye contact, she finished, “Enough…haven’t you done enough?”

His gaze softened slightly as her words pierced him–but it quickly turned into a frown as his brows scrunched together in aggravation. Isn’t she his? She should only think of him and nothing but him. He didn’t loosen his hold on her wrist, except, he held on it a little bit more firm than should.
Enough to leave a bruise if possible.

“You certainly don’t know your place don’t you…?”
