“Well, since I already said sorry then will you please accept both?” Yue said, pressing the present against his chest as her red face continued looking downward. Reiji is so much scarier than what she had originally thought. Then, deciding that the present is better off on a table, she quickly added, “I-if you don’t need anything else…I will be off in my room.”
It’s not that he spites her from it at all. Yes, he was angry but it’s more of a mess on his part than hers. It’s too late to cry over spill milk anyways. Reiji puts a hand on the box to lower her hold on it.
